A 4 point harness or any harness for that matter is designed to do one thing and one thing only keep you in the seat. This leaves either mounting the system to a roll bar. We offer many of our harness components and hardware along with other harness accessories to be purchased ala cart including floor mounting hardware kits. I see a lot of people mounting the harness on a harness bar but it sits lower than an average persons shoulder line basically pulling from below.

Another problem i see all too often is the improper mounting of the harness belt. Without a cage this can be a serious problem in the event of a rollover.

The sfi 16 1 harness has a 3 pull down individual floor mount shoulder harnesses that will bolt into the floor or bolt or wrap to the roll bar running across just above the floor. The other options are some companies like schroth racing which have harness systems designed to mount to the rear seat seat belt mounting location.
